I believe psychotherapy offers an opportunity for growth and change. My goal is to work collaboratively with my clients to support them in identifying their core values in life and then identifying goals to help them create a life that is rich and meaningful. I work with children, teens and adolescents, families, and couples. I have expertise in treating depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD/ADD) and trauma/PTSD. I also provide neuropsychological testing and psychological evaluations to assist in the diagnosis of ADHD, learning disabilities, and academic problems. My training as a school psychologist allows me to work with teachers and schools to best address the learning needs of each individual student. I have extensive experience collaborating with psychiatrists should there be a need for medication and I can provide referrals should the need arise. I also have experience working with lesbian and gay couples, families with children, and LGBT individuals.

My office is conveniently located in the Castro neighborhood and is close to the Castro Muni station as well as several bus lines. I offer an initial phone consultation at no charge and I have some sliding scale slots available for clients with financial difficulties.
